Samsung is amplifying early value with an Explorer Pack that aggregates consumer and professional services. Depending on the source of the offer, the bundle includes 12 months of Google AI Pro, YouTube Premium, Adobe Project Pulsar, Google Play Pass, and NBA League Pass, with a stated combined value that can exceed $1,000. The inclusion of Google AI Pro aligns with Android XR’s AI-forward workflows, while YouTube Premium and Play Pass address entertainment and casual app usage. Input and interaction rely on hand and eye tracking for most tasks, with controllers reserved for precision scenarios such as certain games or professional tools. Built-in eye tracking functions as both an interaction modality and a foundation for contextual assistance, integrated with Google’s Gemini AI services at the platform level. The intent is to shift from reactive commands toward proactive, context-aware computing.

As an Android XR device, Galaxy XR is expected to run Android applications, which reduces cold-start risk and improves day-one utility relative to nascent XR catalogues.
